In all there will be 11 sporting events, which will continue until January 29, coordinated by the Municipal Secretariat for Sport and Leisure Time (Semesp).
For children and teenagers there will be recreational activities, functional circuit and gymnastics, national and state competitions in volleyball, foot volleyball and beach soccer, festive games of basketball and beach volleyball adapted for the elderly are some of the attractions.
According to the mayor of Victoria, Lorenzo Pasolinithe Summer Arena will be a space where everyone can enjoy the season as it should be.
“The 2023 Summer Arena will be a multipurpose space that will embrace our residents and tourists. We have set up a grandiose structure, in which we will promote health, sport, the creative economy, art, culture and offer jobs and courses. It will be a reference in the state”.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Recreational activities (Monday to Friday)
A series of ball activities, popular games and lots of fun combined with sport are planned From 9:00 to 11:00 And from 15:00 to 17:00. All activities are monitored and accompanied by specialized professionals from the Department of Sport and Leisure.
There will be students from the sports centers of the municipality, from Semesp’s partner social projects and also students from the municipal educational network, as well as tourists and visitors, who can bring their children to participate.
The age range is from 7 to 15 years and visiting children and adolescents must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
1st leg of beach volleyball state and exhibition game
Fri (6), Sat (7) and Sun (8)
The first stage of the state of beach volleyball will take place in the arena, from which the qualifying stage will start friday (6) and the finals of sunday (8). Friday (6) games start at 6pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8am.
The exhibition match will also take place on Sunday, before the finals, and will pit national duo Symon and Vinícius against Bolsa Atleta Municipal fellows Fernando and Benhur.
Beach Soccer Victory Cup
From 9 to 26 January
Held for more than 30 years, the Vitória Beach Soccer Cup selects the athletes who will represent the Vitória team in the state championship. There will be 18 teams in total, 12 men and 6 women, from various districts and communities of the capital.
It is estimated that more than 300 athletes will participate in the competition, which will have medals and trophies for the winners. The contest is very traditional and involves residents and families of neighborhoods such as Praia do Suá, Bairro da Penha, São Pedro, Jardim Camburi, Jesus de Nazaré, Piedade, Santo Antônio, Gurigica, Santa Lúcia and Ilha do Príncipe, among others.
Functional circuit and aerobic gymnastics
From 12 January
Physical activity does not stop during the days of the 2023 Summer Arena. There will be a Functional Circuit and Aerobic Gymnastics from Monday to Friday, from 17:00 to 18:50. The age range of the audience is from 15 years old. All activities are monitored and accompanied by specialized professionals from the Department of Sport and Leisure.
2nd stage of the Beach Tennis FET Cup
On January 14th and 15th
The sands of the Arena will be the stage for the Beach Tennis State Championship, organized by the ES Tennis Federation. Dozens of couples will compete in different male and female categories. The tournament is worth points for the state ranking and promises to be one of the most contested stages of the year.
Altinha State Championship and Skin Board Festival
January 21st
One of the modalities that has become all the rage in Brazil in the last decade, mainly on the beaches and spas from north to south of the country, altinha complements the programming of the arena with the “Altinha das Comunidades” championship, valid as a state stage. Male and female athletes will compete in a straight format, with a quartet facing each other.
In parallel with the altinha, the public will also be able to attend the Skin Board Festival, which will bring together different athletes who have distinguished themselves in the modality. The sport consists of throwing a board from the sand into the sea and jumping on it to then ride the wave. On skimboarding, the audience will see a mix of many other sports such as surfing, skateboarding or snowboarding.
Beach Basketball 3v3 challenge
January 22nd
In a format unprecedented in the state, with games held on sand courts for the first time, the Summer Arena will host the first-ever 3×3 basketball challenge on the beach. Who leads the competition is the capixaba basketball star, Casé, weight name in 3×3 and court basketball.
The 2.03-metre giant, who is a fixture on Vitória’s courts, where he also serves hundreds of needy children, is an athlete of the Brazilian masters team, 3×3 Pan-American and world champion, among other titles. The challenge takes place in the morning and will involve Casé’s friends, guest athletes and family members.
Adapted volleyball

Adaptive volleyball is one of the most popular sports among adults and seniors, and can be characterized as a “lighter” aspect of the traditional game of volleyball. There will be exhibition matches in the men’s and women’s categories with teams made up of students from the Semesp Sports Centres.
Elas por Elas – Brazilian women’s footvolley league
On 28 and 29 January
The Elas por Elas Circuit, valid as a stage of the Brazilian championship of the modality, lands in Vitória to close the last weekend of the Summer Arena. Athletes from Paraná and other parts of the country gather for two days of contests. The matches will take place in the morning and in the afternoon, promising a footvolley spectacle for the public who frequent the space.

People with disabilities who love sports will have the opportunity to practice one of the modalities that has gained strength on beaches and courts in recent years: beach tennis. An inclusive lesson for people with disabilities will be held in the arena, as well as games between teams. Participation is open to all ages.
The public will also have access to the activities of the Adelpho Poli Monjardim Municipal Library, such as storytelling, painting and circus workshops, presentations by magicians, as well as virtual glasses with a journey through the history of Vitória.

Safety
During the programming of the Arena, the Social Projects team will carry out educational actions on public safety issues, aimed at prevention and the preservation of life. Tuesday and Thursday, 2-5pm; on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 8:00 to 11:00.
The teams of the Maritime Rescue Service (Salvamar) will also carry out educational activities, providing indications to prevent drowning and guarantee protection for tourists. During the summer, 90 lifeguards will work on the beaches of the capital.
King Pele Square
The Society for Development, Tourism and Innovation (CDTIV) will set up 24 stands in Praça Rei Pelé. They will be spaces for gastronomy, crafts and tourist information.

For this summer there will be 50 portable toilets along the coast of Vitória, 20 of which will be concentrated in the Summer Arena (Camburi). The beaches of the capital will also have 100 new polyethylene litter bins on the seafront and another 60 concrete litter bins on the sand.
Environment
The Summer Arena will receive educational actions from the “Clean Beach” campaign, which will start this Saturday (7), from 8 am.
