Discover the winners of the Critics Choice Awards 2023

THE Critics Choice Awards – one of the awards who serves as an Oscar thermometer – presented his trophies on the 15th in a ceremony presented by manager of chelsea and marked by fine speeches and tributes. Among the winners, All everywhere at the same time won several statuettes, such as Best Director (for Daniele Kwan And Daniel Scheinert)supporting actor for Ke Huy Quan, Original Screenplay, among others. On small screens, Better call Saul came out prestigious in its final year, winning awards for Best Drama Series, as well as Best Actor and Supporting Actor, for Bob Odenkirk And Giancarlo Esposito.

The award reserved moments to pay homage to the career and the roles covered Janelle Monae on the screen, but the actress – who recently starred Glass onion: a knife-edged mysteryawarded best comedy – competing with Angela Bassetto in the Best Supporting Actress category, and the interpreter of Queen Ramonda in black panther 2 ended up winning. Basset gave an emotional speech on screen representation, joining the likes of Sheryl Lee Ralph (awarded by Abbott Elementary) as actresses with moving speeches. At the end of the night, it was who stole the spotlight Brendan Fraserwhich he won the best actor award for The whale and took the stage excited, moving the audience.

Yet, The abandonment won the award for best miniseries and Abbott Elementary it took the statuette for best comedy series. In the middle of the ceremony, Jeff Bridges he was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
