WHY WILL THE 2021 BASE YEAR SIP BE FILED IN 2023?
The delay occurs due to a previous postponement.
This is the PIS/PASEP payment with base year 2020, which was not paid to workers in the correct year (2021) due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Pis with base year 2020 were paid only in 2022, between February and March.
PIS CHANGE 2023; WHAT CHANGES IN PIS 2023
Another change that is expected to take place in the PIS 2023 calendar is that, starting next year, it will have to be completed between January and December.
Previously, payments were made from July to July of the following year.
WILL PIS BASE YEAR 2021 BE PAID ONLY IN 2023?
This year only the salary bonus for 2019 and 2020 will be paid.

The calculation of the benefit amount corresponds to the number of months worked in the base year multiplied by 1/12 of the minimum wage amount in effect on the payment date.

WHO IS ENTITLED TO THE FULL PIS 2023 SALARY
To qualify, the worker must:
- Be enrolled in the PIS/PASEP for at least five years;
- received average monthly wages up to two minimum wages during the base year;
- Have carried out remunerated activity for a legal person, for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in the base year considered for the calculation;
- Make sure that your data is properly informed by the employer (legal entity) in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS)/eSocial.

Payment of salary allowance can be made:
- by crediting the CAIXA account, when the worker holds a current or savings account or a Digital Account;
- by CAIXA Credito Tem, in a digital social savings account, automatically opened by CAIXA;
at ATMs, lotteries and CAIXA Aqui Correspondents using the Social Card and password; - at a CAIXA branch, presenting an official identification document.
