LeBron James breaks records, but Clippers beat Lakers – Jumper Brasil

THE Los Angeles Clippers won the Los Angeles Lakers from 133 to 115, this Tuesday (24), and overshadowed the historic night of LeBron James. The star did, after all, become the first player in NBA history to have at least one 40-point game against the league’s 30 franchises. This is because he closed the evening with 46 points.

Additionally, LeBron James broke a personal best in the Lakers’ loss to the Clippers. At age 38, he converted nine three-point shots. His highest score was eight hits in one game.

However, despite James’ great use of the perimeter, he didn’t contribute much. Only Russell Westbrook, with 17 points, and Thomas Bryant, with 15, have surpassed double digits in scoring.

On the other hand, the Clippers have collectively managed to upstage LeBron’s individual branding. So seven players hit at least one 3-pointer. Of these, four converted three or more.

Highlight for the team’s star duo. Kawhi Leonardafter all, he finished the night with 27 points and nine rebounds. Paul George, in turn, accounted for 25 points and nine rebounds. In addition to the stars, three other players have surpassed 17 points in the game.

Norman Powell, who came off the bench, had 22 points, as did Reggie Jackson, with 19. Terence Mann, starter, added 17 points. With this collective combination, therefore, the Clippers reached 133 points in a convincing victory. The triumph, among other things, is the tenth in a row against the rival from Los Angeles.

Now, the team led by Tyronn Lue has 26 wins in 50 games played and has a three-game winning streak. Then, the Clippers moved up to seventh place in the Western Conference.

Already the Lakers, who came from two positive results, lost their 26th game of the season. Therefore, Darvin Ham’s side remain stagnant in 13th place in the West and will play consecutive matches. That’s because he comes on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs.
