Luana Piovani says Pedro Scooby wants to ‘disqualify’ him; surfer achievements

Actress Luana Piovani revealed, this Thursday (26/1), that she is the target of a lawsuit filed by her ex-husband Pedro Scooby. The action would have taken place after Luana had claimed that the surfer had not paid the full amount of the pension for the ex couple’s three children.

In the process, Luana said Scooby attached nude photos of the actress, which she saw as a way to disqualify her “as a mother and a woman.” The surfer’s attitude also caused reactions from netizens and generated a lot of criticism.

“I arrived here earlier in the week and there was a process. Pedro (Scooby) filed a lawsuit against me and scheduled a hearing for next week. He’s trying to shut me up. I was intrigued, I didn’t understand what my nude photos have to do with the fact that he wants her to shut up, ”the actress said via Instagram.

“It discredits me, it disqualifies me as a woman and as a mother. I kept watching the trial, there are several audio recordings of me with Dom, he really dug, he did everything carefully. Since it disqualifies me as a woman and as a mother, he would be able to take off his guard”, added Luana.

Scooby’s answer to Luana

In response to Luana Piovani’s pronouncement, Pedro Scooby’s lawyer denied that the surfer had sued the actress in Portugal (as Piovani had pointed out a priori) and also affirmed that the Brazilian Justice issued a decision to preserve the privacy of children, “avoiding exposure of minors and endangering the best interests of children and adolescents”.

“Recognizing the risk to minors of overexposure, the Brazilian Judiciary issued a decision, on 18.01. of the author and/or the author’s name related to the children’s names in common”, and the conflict must be resolved within of the family,” the statement said.

“Failure to comply with the court’s decision implies, in addition to a fine, disrespect for the Brazilian judiciary as an institution of the democratic rule of law and ignores the harmful effects of overexposure of minors. It is not true, therefore, that Pedro Scooby does not will use justice and Brazilian legal mechanisms to protect the privacy of your children, ensuring their well-being and dignity,” added the Scooby legal team.

Regarding Pedro Scooby’s legal counsel’s allegation that Luana failed to comply with a court order, actress Maria Cristina Câmara’s attorney denied the information and said the surfer’s defense is withholding details of the case.
