Jorge Paolo Lemann
The richest man in Brazil. Economist, investor and billionaire businessman, he is one of the founders of Ambev and 3G Capital.
One of the controllers of Americanas since 1982, he became a member of the company’s board of directors.
Although he lives in Switzerland, his father’s land, he was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1939. Lemann defends meritocracy and was one of those who established the culture of paying below average salaries with millionaire bonuses in the Brazilian financial market.
Alongside the partners of 3G Capital, he has made millionaire agreements with the CVM (Securities and Exchange Commission) to close administrative proceedings. In one of them, the trio was accused of having abused control over Ambev to “increase their stake in the company at the expense of minority shareholders”.
In 2021, he left the board of directors of Kraft-Heinz, which is under the umbrella of 3G Capital and needed to make an accounting adjustment in 2019 after finding a millionaire error in the financial statements.
Together with the American administrators, he is the target of a lawsuit by the CVM investigating the conduct of entrepreneurs after the announcement of “accounting inconsistencies” which culminated in the request for judicial recovery this Thursday (19).
Carlos Alberto Veiga Sicupira
Known as Beto Sicupira, he is among the 200 richest men in the world and is an investment partner of Lemann and Marcel Telles at AB Inbev, the world’s largest brewery, and at 3G Capital.
He served as chairman of the board of Americanas between 1983 and 1991 and still sits on the board. He played a vital role in recreating the retailer’s brand.
Marcellus Hermann telles
Founding partner of 3G Capital together with Lemann and Sicupira, he is among the three richest people in Brazil. He was director of Brahma, renovating the corporate structure and rationalizing the paycheck with interventions such as halving, in some cases, the pension to which those entitled to the brewery’s pension fund would be entitled.
Born and lives in Rio de Janeiro, where he graduated in economics from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro).

Eduardo Saggioro Garcia
He took over as chairman of the board of Americanas when Carlos Alberto Sicupira stepped down in 2020. Prior to that, he was a director of the company.
A graduate in production engineering from UFRJ and a master’s degree in management engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin, he is a founding partner of Visagio, a technology and management consultancy company, and a partner of LTS Investments, which “represents the holding and investment office of Lemann, the Telles and Sicupira families, as well as some of his longtime partners,” according to his LinkedIn profile.
He is also a full board member of São Carlos Empreendimentos, which invests and manages commercial real estate in Brazil.
In recent years, he has served on the boards of directors of Casas Pedro, Equatorial Energia and CVC.
Claudio Moniz Barreto Garcia

He started his career in Ambev, as an intern at Brahma with Marcel Telles. He has held various positions in finance, operations, technology and shared services management. At Anheuser-Busch Inbev, he was director of people and technology and in 2019 became a member of the board of directors of AB Inbev. Co-founder of the Garcia Family Foundation, operating in the fields of culture and education.
Paul Albert Lemann
Son of Jorge Paulo Lemann. He has been a member of the board of directors of Americanas since 2005, where he also serves as a financial specialist on the Finance and People & Sustainability committees.
He worked at Andersen Consulting, Banco Marka and at Dynamo Asset. In 2005 you founded Pollux Capital. He is a member of the board of directors of AB Inbev.
Mauro Muratorio No
Independent member of the Americanas board of directors and chairman of the company’s audit committee.
He began his career at Sharp in 1975, where he worked for ten years in the areas of cost and budget, strategic planning and marketing.

He is the founder and curator of the Associação Potencial Institute.
Vanessa Claro Lopes
Independent member of the board of directors of Americanas and member of the audit committee of the company. She is also coordinator of the audit committee and independent member of the board of directors of Light.
With more than 20 years of professional experience, she was president of the tax council of Via Varejo, director of corporate internal audit of the TAM Group and head of the audit teams of the Telefônica Group’s mobile phone companies.

Interim Chief Executive Officer until 2024. Statutory Director of Americanas since 2013. He joined Lojas Americanas in 1991 as a planning analyst in the financial area. In 1995, he was promoted to finance coordinator, a role he held until 1998 when he became head of the technology department.
Jose Timoteo de Barros
Vice President of Physical Stores, Logistics and Technology. He joined Lojas Americanas in 1996 in the Operations area. In 1997, he became Planning Manager, a position he held until 1999 when he became Logistics Manager at Americanas.com.
He led the integration process of Shoptime in 2005 and the merger with Submarino in 2006. He was CFO of B2W Digital and Lojas Americanas. Lui served on the Operations Board of B2W from 2011 to 2018, when he became CEO of Let’s, a logistics and distribution platform for Lojas Americanas and B2W Digital.
Anna Cristina Ramos Saicali
Founder and CEO of Ame Digital since its creation in 2019. She joined the company in 1997, where she worked in the areas of technology and people, with highlights: structuring the technology platform, creating Americanas.com and implementing the structure model organizational. She was the statutory director of both areas and CEO of Americanas.com. Responsible for the acquisition of Shoptime in 2005 and the merger with Submarino in 2006, which led to the creation of B2W Digital in 2007, she led the company as CEO until 2018 and chairman of the board until 2021.
Marcio Cruz Meirelles
Digital Platform CEO. He joined Lojas Americanas in 1994 in the Operations area. In 1999 he took over the Claims Control and Prevention area, where he worked until 2002.
